For as long as I could remember I’ve wanted to be a make up artist, admiring the perfect air hostesses who were coiffed to perfection and I always knew it was just a matter of time…

I’m a qualified pro makeup, hair & spray tan artist and hold my certification from Mieke Petit (Amsterdam), Brushstrokes (Cape Town) & Scar Hair (Cape Town). I also have my own skincare line called Allure Skincare which is an organic, handmade skincare brand.

The industry has taught me creativity and how to deal with the pressures of working on projects in every genre.

Having worked at a modeling agency as a model scout, a creative management agency as a makeup and hair artist with a great training ground as a MAC artist and studying hair at SCAR; it has all provided me with the ideal background in dealing with models, photographers, agencies, production companies and many celebrities.  

I also have an agency called GLAM MANIACS where I am fortunate enough to offer other artists work when there is too much work coming my way.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching pro artist training and watching my students flourish under my watchful eye. It leaves me with a feeling of giving back and paying my skills forward. It’s incredibly rewarding! I call my boutique tutoring school GLAM MANIACS UNIVERSITY. I also do private, individual tutor lessons if you just want to learn to do your own makeup and hair.

Now that I have had the pleasure of  feeling gorgeous on my own wedding day and having gone through the pre wedding day madness, I can truly say that I know what all my brides go through and I think it’s made me a better artist for understanding my clients needs leading up to the wedding day. It leaves me nostalgic for doing mine all over again.

I’m very lucky to be able to do international and domestic travel with my work and being able to have the understanding of how the pressures of the environment plays with my product performance and how this affects my hair and makeup skills.
